At Matrika Vastra, each product is carefully inspected before dispatch to ensure quality and authenticity. Many of our products are handcrafted and involve traditional processes. Therefore, slight variations in color, weave, motifs, patterns, or thread work are natural and should not be considered defects.

Please read the following policy carefully before placing an order.

Return Policy

We currently do not offer returns on products once they have been delivered, except in cases where the customer receives:

• A damaged product, or
• An incorrect product

To request a return for such cases, the customer must notify Matrika Vastra within 24 hours of delivery by sharing:

• Clear images of the product
• A proper unboxing video

Requests raised after this timeframe may not be entertained.

Exchange Policy

Exchanges will only be considered in the following situations:

• The customer has received a wrong product, or
• The product received is damaged at the time of delivery

Customers must notify us within 24 hours of receiving the order, along with supporting images and an unboxing video.

If the request is approved, the product must be returned in unused, unwashed condition, with all original tags and packaging intact.

Refund Policy

Refunds will only be processed in the following cases:

• If the ordered product is unavailable in stock after order confirmation, or
• If a return request is approved for a damaged or incorrect product.

Refunds will be processed to the customer’s bank account after verification, once the correct bank details are shared.

Refund processing may take 5–7 working days after approval.

Any shipping charges (if applicable) are non-refundable.

Handmade Product Disclaimer

Many of our products are handcrafted using traditional techniques. Due to the nature of handmade textiles, slight variations may occur in:

• Weaving
• Printing
• Motifs or patterns
• Thread work or finishing

Loose threads, minor irregularities in motifs, variations in block prints, or slight differences in design placement are natural characteristics of handcrafted products and will not be considered defects.

Such variations highlight the authenticity and uniqueness of handmade craftsmanship and therefore will not be eligible for return, exchange, or refund.

Color Variations: Products are created using natural dyes and traditional block printing. Slight color differences are not considered defects but a hallmark of handcrafted artistry.

Conditions for Return / Exchange Approval

Returns or exchanges will not be accepted in the following cases:

• Product has been used, washed, altered, or damaged by the customer
• Original tags or packaging are missing
• The request is raised after the allowed timeframe
• Minor color variations due to lighting, photography, or screen settings
• Natural variations due to handcrafted or artisanal processes

Unboxing Video Requirement

To process any request for return, refund, or exchange due to damage, missing item, or incorrect product, customers must provide a clear unboxing video recorded from the moment the sealed package is opened.

The video must clearly show:

• The sealed courier package
• The opening of the package
• The product received inside

Requests without a proper unboxing video may not be accepted.

Product Condition Requirement

For any approved return or exchange request, the product must be returned in its original condition, which includes:

• Unused and unwashed condition
• All original tags attached
• Original packaging intact

Matrika Vastra reserves the right to reject return or exchange requests if the product shows signs of use, washing, alteration, or damage after delivery.

Inspection & Approval

All returned products will undergo a quality inspection once received.

Matrika Vastra reserves the right to approve or reject return or exchange requests after inspection.

Fraud Prevention Clause

To protect against misuse of the return policy, Matrika Vastra reserves the right to refuse returns, exchanges, or refunds in cases where:

• Fraudulent activity is suspected
• Repeated return requests are made
• Policy misuse is detected

All requests will be reviewed and approved at the sole discretion of Matrika Vastra after verification.

Cancellation Policy

Orders once placed cannot be cancelled after processing or dispatch.
